Nilavembu, also known as Siriyanangai or Siddha, is an herb used for its antipyretic, bitter, digestive, cholagogic, hepatoprotective and anti-inflammatory properties. Nila vembu (neem ground) Andrographis has a strong bitter taste like that of the neem tree and defies its small size.

It is useful in treatment of intermittent fever, malaria, chronic fever, dengue and chikungunya disease where fever is the main symptom. Nilavembu is a herbal tonic that consists of herbs to strengthen immunity and support the overall health of the body.
